3 Things You Might Not Know About Poland

Poland is a fascinating country with a beautiful culture, but there’s also some really cool facts you may not have known. These are the little things that missionaries learn to better understand their culture.

So here’s 3 things you may not have know about Poland.

1. Time Change. Poland is in a time zone that actually changes their clocks backward or forward one week before the US does. Normally there’s a 6 hour difference, but for two weeks a year there’s only a 5 hour difference.

2. Halloween. They don’t celebrate Halloween, but instead celebrate All Saint’s Day on November 1. Since Poland is an extremely Catholic nation this is a very big event.

3. Nozbe. The Founder and CEO of the task management program Nozbe is actually Polish! Michael Sliwinski started Nozbe (which has no meaning in Polish) and it has grown to a large  and popular program. It’s the program I use for task management.
